ABOUT OUR HOMESCHOOL COOPERATIVE
Waldessori Schoolhouse, now known as The Montessori Schoolhouse of McKinney, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit homeschool cooperative serving families in McKinney, Texas. On our two-acre campus, we offer flexible participation options, shared enrichment, and community for homeschooling families.
Our Montessori- and Waldorf-inspired programming includes hands-on enrichment, outdoor exploration, practical life experiences, imaginative play, and opportunities for children to learn together. Parents remain responsible for directing their children’s home education.
We honor each child’s individual pace, curiosity, and imagination. Through a whole-child approach and conscious discipline, we guide with dignity and the intention to teach rather than shame.
Our cooperative seeks to preserve the wonder of childhood, foster independence, and build meaningful relationships among children and families. Program offerings evolve in response to the needs of our member community.
